Recently, we have completed several orders for Hammerton Brewery in Islington. Even more recently, they asked if we could design and create 30 Tap Handles for the different beers they offer. We were thrilled to be asked, as we love working on new products and we also love a challenge.
Originally beginning brewing in 1868, Hammerton Brewery is a microbrewery based in Islington brewing small batch beers.. After closing in the 1950s, it was reopened by a member of the Hammerton family in 2014 to bring brewing back to Islington. Today, the beers are influenced by global tastes, and are brewed using both modern and traditional brewing techniques and with the highest quality ingredients.
The Tap Handles
The tap handles are created from Beech and are etched with the logo as well as the name of the specific beer on each. Beech itself etches beautifully, so anything marked into the wood always comes up looking great. For the threads that are inserted, we worked with Technifast to supply them, who were brilliant to work with.
We can’t wait to see the Tap Handles in situ, and look forward to continuing to work with Hammerton Brewery and the team there well into the future. If you’d like to work with us on a project, whether it’s Tap Handles or anything else, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
